法國一代歌王塞吉·甘斯布的傳記片《歌王傳》於19日在巴黎開拍，影片導演是以奇思妙想著稱的漫畫家尤安·史法。該片是好萊塢環球影業投拍的第一部法語對白電影，拍攝周期為13個星期，預定在2010年上映。《歌王傳》是繼《玫瑰人生》和《藝術先鋒香奈爾》之後又一部備受矚目的傳記大片。 影片將從二戰期間巴黎街頭一個名叫盧錫安·金斯布的猶太男孩講起，展現他是如何在六十年代成為一代歌王以及他與當時的性感偶像碧姬·芭鐸、簡·伯金等人間的情感糾葛。甘斯布於1991年去世，他的女兒夏洛特·甘斯布也是目前人氣很高的法國女演員。 法國男星埃裏克·埃爾莫斯尼諾將在片中扮演甘斯布，碧姬·芭鐸由超級名模拉蒂迪亞·科斯塔出演，英國女孩露茜·高登被挑中再現簡·伯金年輕時的絕代風情。此外，米蘭妮·詹姆帕諾米飾演甘斯布生命中最後的伴侶Bambou，安娜·莫格拉莉絲與莎拉·弗裏斯蒂分別飾演與他同時代的兩位女歌手。 史法表示在影片中真實與虛構將對半開，“這是一個寓言，我的甘斯布將是茂瑙的諾斯菲拉圖和維托裏奧·加斯曼式的意大利誘惑男子的結合體，甚至加上一點卓別林的溫柔和詩意。”
