這個根據真實故事改編的影片背景發生在1966年，披頭士樂隊在西班牙南部城市阿爾梅裏亞巡演時。“閉上眼睛活著很容易”是一句歌詞，來源於列儂在這次西班牙巡演時譜寫的披頭士樂隊的一首單曲：《Straberry field forever》(草莓園永恒)，這部影片也是與他有關的影片，但是講述的並不是他的故事，而是三位不同經曆，不同出身的人想方設法去接近和探訪約翰列儂的故事：一個狂熱癡迷約翰列儂的奔赴披頭士樂隊巡演地的西班牙英語老師，一個年僅十六歲離家出走的男孩，一個懷有身孕同樣也在逃避著什麽的年輕女孩···他們在一起的旅途，會碰撞出什麽樣的火花和故事？而這部影片與約翰列儂又有著什麽樣的關係？
