阿寶（蔣家旻 飾）的母親被確證患上了急性腎衰竭，唯有換腎才能夠保命，然而，阿寶貧寒的家境卻根本無法承受高昂的手術費用。無奈之下，阿寶找到了鄰居芸姐（陳敏芝 飾），求她幫忙，在芸姐的建議下，阿寶最終無奈的同意利用自己的身體換取金錢。
阿強（馬誌威 飾）是阿寶的男友，盡管他明白阿寶的處境，亦決定尊重阿寶的決定，甚至陪她上下班，但他無法控製自己心裏漸漸滋長的妒火，最終矛盾爆發，兩人不歡而散。之後，阿強得知了阿寶母親去世的消息，與此同時，阿寶亦被親戚收養，從此了無音信。一晃眼多年過去，阿強成為了一名發型設計師，在一次工作中，他意外的和阿寶重逢了，往日的種種浮現心頭，兩人心中百般感慨。
